Even More Sharings
"Thank you so very much for your working with Metok … you have helped me immeasurably … to follow my knowing that the right path involved helping her go in a time with less suffering … as opposed to thinking more time is always better for our beings … which in this case would have been selfish of me ….
Thank you for using to your ability to connect … correspond with and garner direction from her on where she is in the process … which has opened the door for us to trust our instincts with respect to what is right for Metok … no matter how painful it may be for us …I have been incredibly blessed to have had her in my life for 7 years plus.
You are a gift ... and Pascale and I thank you for your help."

"At first I thought the healing session for Moose and Mango was because they were not responding well to their new litter box situation. I realize now that the healing they needed was more profound.
Through Joanna's wonderful work I found that I had one unhappy Moose and a frustrated Mango. Moose (brown) and Mango (orange) are brothers. They came into my life when they were so young their eyes were barely open. The issue my boys were having came after we moved which left them with more alone time than they have ever experienced. I have always had a feeling that Moose was sad I just did not know what to do for him.
Communicating with him through the healings allowed Moose to feel again how much I love him. He is back to his affectionate and playful self. Joanna's healing also allowed me to see that I was not recognizing Mango's clever and mischievous personality. I now play games with him and give him a lot of praise for figuring out "the game."
I love Moose and Mango but after the healings I am able to communicate and respond to them in a much deeper and meaningful way. I highly recommend Joanna's work. She healed our family in ways that were unimaginable to me. I never thought I could know Moose and Mango the way I do now. I am so thankful Joanna! As a side note there are no longer any litter box issues."

"We call Oreo “our little guy.” Our family, including Oreo, was all very broken hearted when his brother, Mango, passed. I contacted Joanna for support in our grieving process and guidance on how to help Oreo move forward.
We had a few sessions which were so helpful. Then Oreo went through a serious tooth and ear infection. I also felt he was deeply grieving. Oreo joined the Circles of Healing. Without a doubt, I believe the healings have helped him regain his health, become more peaceful, more energetically balanced, more playful and much more receptive to love than he ever had been. I’m so grateful that Joanna shares her gift. With her support, we’ve all changed for the better."

"Like many felines, Jackson can be quite nervous at times. When he was younger however, his nervousness translated into periods of shaking which landed him in the neurologist’s office. After multiple tests, no known cause was found for his tremors. That’s when a friend told me about Joanna. Over the years, Joanna has invited Jackson to discover his inner peace and calm no matter what the situation. He is happier and much calmer now – thank you, Joanna!"

"The people at the shelter had given us a heads-up about Peter Pepper, that he was skittish and nervous and needed reassurance and love, but that with time he would come around because in his heart he is a warm and loving cat. Well - Peter Pepper was really skittish. After he came home with us he stayed wedged between a dresser and the wall for days. We needed Joanna's help to understand him and help him get over whatever he had experienced before coming to us.
In communication with him through Joanna, we found out that his birth had been surrounded by a lot of chaos. His relationship with his mother had not been long enough and he had picked up the chaotic energy of the hoarder house from which he had been removed at a young age before spending two years at the shelter. He communicated to us that time would heal his emotional wounds, that he understands things are safe in his new home, he suggests tolerance treatment (keep picking him up gently), and spending quiet time with him.
In the three and a half years Peter Pepper has been with us he has developed into the most loving, spiritual, kind, and wise cat we could wish to live with. As skittish as he used to be, he now comes and sits and sleeps on my lap, rubs his heads vigorously against mine in a beautiful show of love and appreciation, and is in general a very content cat."

"Joanna was referred to us by a former student of hers when we recently adopted two adult bulldogs from a puppy mill. They were both very sweet but had been extremely traumatized. When the female died during simple spay surgery, we were desperate to understand why. Joanna provided extremely helpful information on our dog's traumatic past and provided more of the deeper spiritual context for why this lovely dog came into our lives for so short a time and why we felt such a deep loss with her passing. Joanna was also instrumental in healing our remaining dog who was grieving the loss of his only friend. We are all a happier household due to Joanna's exceptional skills."

"Brandie first came to our home a year and a half old and abandoned. Two years later, he was diagnosed with mast cell tumors which were positive for cancer. The treatment: chemotherapy and other drugs that would compromise his quality of life, with no guarantee of a cure. Not wanting to compromise Brandie’s quality of life, I began researching alternative methods. Thus began our journey with Joanna.
Eight years later, Brandie is in remission from his cancer, and from diabetes. And while we still have some challenges, now the on-set of age related issues, Brandie is healthy, balanced, and very happy. We so look forward to Brandies monthly healings and are grateful for the compassion, guidance, and love that Joanna has provided through the years with Brandie."

"Joanna has been instrumental in helping me to understand and work with my horse, George. He suffered a back injury and, although his pain subsided, he displayed behavioral problems associated with painful memories. This led to dangerous behavior (on his part) and a lack of confidence (on both of our parts).
I came to Joanna when my alternatives for George were limited and unpleasant. She gave us the strength and encouragement that George and I needed to persevere. Joanna has not only offered us the invaluable (and astounding) benefit of communication and healing but also practical advice and real horse sense — an overall approach to setting George and me on the right track again."

"My earliest contacts with Joanna were related to the passing of two beloved rescued cats. I found Joanna’s support invaluable on each occasion.
We then adopted two cats from the ASPCA - Cassie, a lively two-year old tuxedo female, and Honey, a three-year old striped female tabby. I contacted Joanna when Honey came down with a severe case of vaccinosis after her annual checkup and vaccinations. We feared Honey would not survive. She was listless and stayed in her bed all day. She had almost no appetite, twitched, and was confused. She seemed to be disappearing.
When she went to the litter box, her gait was stiff-legged, almost like she had wooden legs. Within 36 hours of a session with Joanna, Honey was “back” with energy and interest in her environment. Honey’s confusion vanished and she was ravenous! Much of the twitching she had exhibited quickly receded and it was not long before she regained her muscular strength. The only residue of her experience was stiffness in her right leg which resolved itself over the following months as Honey participated in Joanna’s Circles.
Given the benefits Honey had received, I signed Cassie up for the Circles. Cassie’s energy level had been a daily challenge. During the past 18 months, Cassie has been discovering the benefits of becoming domesticated. She has gone from being a wild creature to a lap cat without losing her wonderful boldness and curiosity.
Honey and Cassie continue to gain through their regular inclusion in Joanna’s Circles.
Honey, who always had a timid nature and was scared of loud noises, weathered Hurricane Sandy’s fury by relaxing on the bed and watching the event – a far cry from the terrified feline who fled to the depths of a closet any time drops of rain spattered on the window pane. Honey was also able to tune out the Times Square fireworks at the New Year – a first! Cassie captivates the neighbors when we go for an evening walk in the hallway outside the apartment and allows them to stroke her belly. She remembers to keep her claws sheathed when she plays with us and rarely gives a nip to get our attention. Her aloofness has given way to enjoying being close to her human companions.
I am grateful that Honey and Cassie have access to a social network of other animals in the Circles and I thank Joanna for her dedication to enriching their lives."

"Joanna’s ability to translate the individual voices of my three animals — my dog Ming and cats Puffkin and Spunky — is uncanny. She not only gets the information I need to help them, but she also captures each animal’s unique way of communicating.
Joanna's healing abilities have especially helped Puffkin to recover from life threatening physical problems. It’s miraculous that she has returned to her vital self in so short a time. Her healing sessions have resulted in consistent progress!
Joanna is always there for my companions, offering warm support, clear messages, and solutions to any problems that need attention."

"When my golden retriever Brandy was diagnosed with breast cancer, Brandy and I worked with Joanna on a weekly basis. Joanna very specifically and accurately described Brandy's physical, emotional and mental state. She was always able to find out what Brandy was feeling and what she was needed.
I feel that without Joanna's skill, tenderness and deep admiration for animals, Brandy would not have lived so long."

"I found Blanca, our beautiful white German Shepherd, running down Sunset Boulevard. Thomas and I fell in love with Blanca instantly! She had been abused and suffered from many emotional issues. She adjusted quickly to us and did very well in her new home. One day, she panicked crossing a street. She deteriorated until she would not leave the house.
After our first session with Joanna, Blanca began making marked improvement. She was calmer and could go into the front yard again. After a few sessions, she was acting much more like her old self -- only better, happier and more self-assured. She had more personality and was more affectionate.
Blanca continued to improve over time and recovered her joy of walking and living. It was as if Joanna showed her how to heal."

"When my beloved cat Snowflake had a serious health crisis in her 13th year, I fell apart. Fortunately, a long-time friend gave me Joanna's number.
We arranged regular sessions from which everyone benefited. Joanna helped me to hear and respond to all my pets' needs and wishes, providing guidance and healing as well. I watched in amazement as all my "kids" began to grow and evolve, radiating peace, acceptance and love. Snowflake lived nearly three more years with a wonderful quality of health. At the end, she was able to clearly express to me when her time had come. Joanna and I continue to work with my oldest cat, Lucy, who is now quite elderly but very peaceful and happy at the end of her life.
So much has changed for the better since Joanna came into our lives. We cannot imagine life without her."

"Nelson and I were shocked to find out that our 3 1/2 year old Australian Shepherd, Seamus, had severe arthritis as a result of hip dysplasia in his right hip. We decided to go with a total hip replacement. In the course of making this decision, I strongly felt that animal communication (which I had recently found out about) would help Seamus understand what he was going to be facing and what we needed to do to aid in his recovery.
Seamus was very appreciative of the fact that he was informed as to how and why this very major medical procedure would take place. Because he understood how important it was to stay inactive during the two-month recovery period, he accepted this without protest (an amazing feat, considering that he is a VERY active dog) and never licked the four-inch incision site.
These sessions also were beneficial for me. My perception of Seamus changed. I had always considered him a wonderful dog but, as a result of the communication, I came to regard Seamus as a fellow sentient being from whom I can learn a great deal. Thank you Seamus and thank you Joanna."
